Last week we got off to a good start with a fish on Monday from the Garden Run, a lovely 9lb er, for Richard Munro and was on a 1 1/4" Monkey, we also had a few very well mended kelts for the week but surprisingly that was it. Conditions for the week were fairly good apart from a rise on Wednesday and Thursday morning but both days it had started dropping by midday so no complaints there.

This coming week looks like some rain late Monday into Tuesday from the west and by midweek winds from the north and by Saturday winds from the east so river levels should be favourable.

As ever you can make all your fishing bookings and enquiries through Sarah. Rods available on both banks over the next few weeks so please check our website www.cairnton.co.uk and click on the availability page then get in contact with Sarah to book.

Week long self catering holidays for you and your family with 3 rods fishing each day on Middle Blackhall are still available in August and September. The renovations are coming along well at Glenbogle Lodge with the new kitchen currently being installed, new windows completed, new lighting ready, new shower going in and the new carpets and flooring going down in the next week or two. It really will be a fantastic place to get away from it all with your family in beautiful Deeside overlooking the river with the opportunity to have a cast before breakfast, fish during the day, have dinner and then have another leisurely stroll down the bank for an evening cast. Even if everyone doesn't want to fish there are so many other activities and sights to see in the area. For more information please get in touch with Sarah.
