Conditions weren't the greatest this past week from a fishing point of view with a lot of bright sunshine, a very low and dropping river and water temperatures between the high 50's.f to high 60's.f however we did land some grilse and sea trout and the usual losing a few also. Bob Kenyon got off to a good start on Monday morning with a couple of 3.5lb grilse, one from the Spout and the other from Invercannie both on a small Cascade. Also a 2.5lb sea trout late on Monday evening for Paul West. The following four days were hard going with the weather against us so early mornings and late evenings were more comfortable but we couldn't land the ones that were hooked, then on Friday/Saturday saw the return of fish24 on the Dee with Middle Blackhall being added to the annual event. Matthew Will had a grilse of between 4 to 5lb from Invercannie and a sea trout from Rock Head, both on sunrays. Later in the the afternoon Robson Green had a grilse of between 3 to 4lb in Sandy Bay on a small blue Cascade.
This coming week looks to be a bit mixed with some light rain here and there most days and some bright sunny spells plus strong South westerly's.
