A slightly better week for us with 1 salmon and 2 sea trout caught and safely returned. Ross Macdonald landed a 7lber from Rock Head on a Calvin Shrimp on Thursday and we also had a couple of sea trout with James Madden managing the largest of about 2.5lb. There seems to be a few sea trout about with one or two being seen throughout the beat. Things were fairly quiet on the Salmon front but the water was very unsettled & peaty with the levels up and down which didn’t really help.  The odd fish was seen but again the pattern looks like they are not really hanging around for too long.
