The first full week of June but it feels more like April with North westerly' s blowing most of the week with some fairly heavy showers mixed in with some sunshine. But no complaints as the same week last year it was blistering hot and the river was dropping away daily. This week saw the return of Charlie Perry's party who are all keen and put the hours in. Charlie managed a lovely 3lb sea trout plus a few offers which didn't hang on. We also had an 8lb er from the Spout on a Sunray and two other nice sea trout for the week. The temperature for this coming week is meant to stay chilly, unusual for June.
