The first week of September pretty much started off the way August finished with rain and below seasonal average temperatures however by Friday we were complaining about the heat and sunshine,  lovely weather but not for fishing.  The height started at 4" on Monday, Tuesday up to over 4' and by Saturday was down to 11". Water temperatures were 53f to 57f.  Catches this week were 2 for Geoff Wright , both on a small Black & Yellow tube, with a 7lb er from Rockhead and a 5lb er from Kelpie. Ross Keeley had a 10lb er from the Garden Run on a Willie Gun . Again, enough fish about but they're not in the mood.
