Easterly breezes dominated this week giving us a good drop in air temperatures with a mixture of rain and drizzly days but a few lovely autumn sunny days and a couple of early morning frosts. Again with the last few weeks there have been enough fish about but they were not really switched on however after a fairly quiet start to the week things did waken up a bit and we finished with 1 salmon and 5 grilse. Flies that did the trick were Willie Gun Snaelda's and GP's.

Water heights were 3" on Monday. 1' 9" Wednesday and by Saturday 10".

    Water temperatures were between 42f/50f.

Only 2 days to go until the close of the 2024 season.

    Cheers Brian

    A nice autumn week
