The last couple of days of the 2024 season we had really good water and overhead conditions plus the air temperature were below freezing both mornings at day break. Monday was the better looking day by far but it has proved this season the better looking day doesn't always produce and this was no exception with one fish landed, an 8lb er. Tuesday didn't look too promising, with a cold south easterly wind and fairly murky overhead however we did manage to land 4 to 15lb with Lewis Blair getting the honours of the last fish of our season and the 140th, a 10lb er from the Cottage on his usual Cairnton fly a Cascade. Well done Lewis.
